Passion is your Life

Passion is fuel. When contained and used properly, it’s the fuel that propels unimaginable feats. It propels a jet plane. It gets people to the moon. But that same passion, when used carelessly of for selfish endeavours, is explosive. It can destroy you and everybody around you. The desires you have deep inside you can propel you to greatness or destroy your life in a single spark. If you can’t control your passion, you can’t control your future.

Desire to expose your passion and discover your destiny. They are intertwined like a wildflower field bindweed. Trying to disentangle them only ends up in causing one of two: confusion or loss of zeal.

So, push through what you have to. Deal with the tough areas and let this sink in; your understanding of this is key you igniting the passion within you that’ll change the world.

What’s your passion in life?
What gets you totally cranked up?
What makes your fingers tingle?
What can you do without getting paid?
What gets you excited?

I can help you realize your passion – otherwise what would be the point of writing all this- but only you can absolutely recognize when you have found it. I can use your impressions to lead you down a path that’ll kindle that fire within you. Nonetheless, you are the sole power that can unshackle it and let your passion loose.

We have been wired with a burning desire deep within us. It has nothing to do with our nurture or our circumstances and as sure it has nothing to do with our relationships. It just exists by itself. It is innate. Not placed there by anyone or by any situation: though it might be activated with such coincidences.

There is something we want to do – no, that we have to do. It could be teaching. It could be painting, writing, singing, dancing, building, or aiding. Whatever it is, it is different for everyone, but the desire is the same and it won’t be ignored.

You can find what your passion is – no, you will find out what your passion is. You will do this by focusing all your energy and your desire on finding it. That means reducing or totally removing your focus from other mundane things.

We never get to explore the destiny we were designed for because we’re too busy trying to get people to like us, or in some way – spend all the energy we can master – straining to impress everyone else but ourselves. We then end up drained, hurt and, with utterly vexed personalities.

I have no doubt that most revolutionary feats could have been achieved much earlier if we didn’t spend a lot of time running around pursuing interests that are not even barely appealing to us. Just think about it.

Get out a piece of paper this minute and write down everything you would love to do.
Make it big stuff: write a book, find the solution to your community’s problems, start your own business, sponsor a child, produce a song, recite poems, travel across the world, or play a certain sport. Write down all the stuff you want to do in life.

Now, look at you list: you can do these things and more. True, it will require some effort on your part, but isn’t that just the way to everything? Including the effort and cognitive input you just used to write them down. However, with energy behind your passion and focus begin your mission, you can begin to accomplish the things on your list today.
Do not let your plans be moved to the back banner just because you have to play pretend. You have a mission, should you choose to accept it, to soar with eagles, to walk and then run without growing weary neither fainting. With passion, it will last. You will last.
