To anyone who intends to continue in complacency, laziness, excuses, and blame on others/circumstances, please avoid this book!
It reminds me of another by Ryan Holiday called “Discipline is Destiny.”
This book is a masterpiece that delves into more than 20 areas of life and links each with their need for self-discipline. These he has divided into three main parts namely Self-discipline and Personal Success, Self-discipline in Business, Sales, and Finances, and lastly Self-Discipline and the Good Life.
He outstandingly displays the power of self discipline in each of these areas while including personal exercise that can still be utilized by teams in gauging and changing their direction concerning their area of need.
This is a manual for living. Whenever I feel like I am slowing down, I take it out and remind myself the intensity which is required to achieve personal self-discipline. Finally, I perceived my supposed excuses meant cowardly backing out of my desired successes.
Did you know that there is no way you can save time? Time moves on. Whether we use it or not. The most we can do is prioritize how we use it. This was a blow to my intelligence! I couldn’t have known this otherwise.
Procrastination is another way of prioritizing the unimportant stuff over the important ones. This was one of my let-downs. Delay against my personal growth and development – procrastination.
Today I know better and so can you. You can get your mind-cure within the pages of this book.
