Criticism. Does it benefit?

Did you know that 99% of people don’t criticize themselves for anything, no matter how wrong it may be ⁉️

🤔 Yet, we excel in criticizing others on a whim.

How about we show the same compassion when directing it toward others? Since we feel it doesn’t provide any positive input in our lives, why would we think it useful in helping others improve?

Criticism is futile because it puts a person on the defensive and usually makes him strive to justify himself. It is dangerous because it wounds a person’s precious pride, hurts their sense of importance, and arouses resentment.

Instead, let us employ honest approval, which every person craves. Honest appreciation yields results where criticism and ridicule fall short.

Please focus on the positive and apply your appreciation of them, then customize a way to communicate the need for improvement in other areas.

The results are magical!
