“Growth – When I was a child… when I became a man…” by Stephen Odiwuor

“Growth” by Stephen Odiwuor is a complete manual for all the areas a person needs to work on for the development of the whole man. He bases his deductions on the Bible. The principles he shares are all rooted in the Scriptures. They are both vividly expounded on and discussed in a way that is easy to understand.

He teaches on 5 areas of growth; Spiritual, Financial, Intellectual, Social, and Physical.

He not only brings to the reader’s awareness the need for growth in these areas, he also points out the need to continually measure and evaluate the said growths, especially financial, intellectual, and social growth.

One of the interesting things he points out when reading the word of God is how we end up gaining or not gaining at all from reading the Bible. He alleges that the Holy Spirit gauges our intent, and our motive and determines if they are pure; only then can He work with us to bring understanding and wisdom.

He adds that in all growth, whatever the area, there is a need to realize that an automatic evaluation involves winning over challenges and hurdles in those areas whereby losing in any depicts a lack of growth in that area.

This book works as a perfect foundation for growth for all who want to understand what Growth is for a Christian. This is so because of the simple language used and the awareness or further deeper revelations worth the time of a Christian. It is a book that talks of more than growth.
