Do you feel side-tracked? Do you seem to have lost your direction?
Maybe things didn’t work out as expected.
Life -especially one riddled with changes- might never be fully understood as much as we may wish it to be. Somehow, we always come up short of fully comprehending it.
Such is even more daunting when people are a part of the equation. Challenges are a given when moving together as a team. Then again, it isn’t straightforward when you decide to go solo.
It is true too, that if you want to go fast, go alone but, if you want to get far in life you should go as a team(together).
’And… a cord of three strands is not quickly broken. King Solomon (Ecclesiastes 4:12 AMP)
The following quote by Hellen Keller an American author, disability rights advocate, political activist, and lecturer is also true.
”Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” (Hellen Keller).
Various reasons demand teamwork and collaboration in accomplishing fetes in life. Though dainty and inspiring, it has its shortcomings.
One of the most common letdowns is with a colleague, a team member, a loved one, or a friend. That sudden realization that your cord of three strands was pulling in different directions. You appeared to be in sync until you were not. Individual focus shifted from a single unified goal to contrary pursuits.
What to do?
Did you make the wrong choice?
Is it that you did not agree in the first place?
Did you overlook the warning signals?
Emotions spiral, disbelief, and failure to understand why it didn’t work. You could spend a chunk of time trying to find out how this came to be, or why it happened and what went wrong.
Alternatively, you could jump back in and discover a way to continue toward your goal. Figure out a way to bounce back and maintain the journey.
By avoiding such detours -such that either keep you spellbound at the point of failure or redirect your strength towards attempting to repair where the cord broke- you salvage enough time (even spare time) to focus on getting ahead.
Remarkably, it is often through refocusing your compass toward your goal, and it comes as a result of patching up yourself quickly while in transit toward your destination.
Don’t get me wrong. Not all teams fail. Some will always prove effective. But again, not all work. Therefore, you need a gyroscopic backup that will keep you in the right direction by automatically refocusing you toward your desired end – success.
“Finding the slant between good or bad consequences is what makes a choice right or wrong.”

This keystone, an anchor to an individual is his self-discipline. An internal fortitude is your path to your destiny. Lose it and you lose your direction. The loss of direction inspires a jumbled orientation toward your desired goals, and with that gone, like a moth, you will be attracted to every form of light, including one that shall precede your destruction.
Cultivate self-discipline. Cultivate a personal development that is not pegged down on others. One that can sustain itself when all else fails. It will act as a fail-safe. Even better, a hidden power that will always propel you to success no matter the prevailing circumstances around you.
A very educative article.Everyone deserve to read all of that its helpful!
